Entered Kathiawad High School. 
Married Kasturba Nakanji.

Tried meat-eating, but  abandoned it to avoid deceiving elders. Father died, at the age of sixtythree.

Passed matriculation  examination and joined Samaldas College at Bhavnagar (Gujarat/India).
